Compact 1080p screen microscope for coins, crafts and first bench work

The ViewPro 4.3 puts a live magnified image on its own screen, so there is no phone or computer to set up before you start looking. The pillar stand gives a stable working distance for coins and small parts, and the transmitted LED base light helps with slides and translucent specimens as well as surface detail. Magnification is stated honestly: the optical system provides the working range, and the higher figures are digital zoom on the captured image, which enlarges pixels rather than adding new detail. Capture stills and video to a microSD card or connect by USB to view on a Windows or Mac computer.

For this model the published figure is: 50x–1000x (optical working range with digital zoom; digital zoom enlarges the image and does not add resolution).
Two different things get called “magnification”. Optical magnification is produced by the lens system and carries real detail. Digital zoom enlarges the captured image on screen — the picture gets bigger, but no new detail appears, because the sensor captured a fixed amount of information. MicroHub publishes the derivation with every figure; where a headline number mixes the two, the optical range is the one to compare between models.

The working distance is the clearance between lens and subject — the space your hands and tools actually get. Screen and output decide who can watch: a built-in LCD for one pair of eyes at the bench, HDMI for a room, USB for capture and measurement.
Works with Windows and Mac computers as a standard USB camera. No driver install needed for basic viewing.
Power: Built-in rechargeable battery or USB power.
Your work is coin collecting, hobby & craft inspection, and the specifications above — magnification, working distance, outputs and lighting — fit how you actually work. It is a beginner-level instrument at a market-rate price of $44.99.

50x–1000x (optical working range with digital zoom; digital zoom enlarges the image and does not add resolution). The digital portion enlarges the captured image; it does not add resolution — the sensor and the optics decide the real detail.
