Stereo viewing plus a camera port and ring light — train others while you work

This is the training-station version of our stereo line: you work through the binocular eyepieces with true depth perception while the trinocular port feeds an HDMI camera, so a trainee or a customer watches the same field on a monitor. Included Barlow lenses extend the optical range to 3.5x–90x and increase working distance at the low end — useful over tall assemblies. The LED ring light gives shadow-free illumination for reflective parts like watch movements and polished jewelry. Optical zoom figures are stated with the standard 10x eyepieces.

For this model the published figure is: 7x–45x optical zoom; 3.5x–90x with included 0.5x and 2x Barlow lenses.
Two different things get called “magnification”. Optical magnification is produced by the lens system and carries real detail. Digital zoom enlarges the captured image on screen — the picture gets bigger, but no new detail appears, because the sensor captured a fixed amount of information. MicroHub publishes the derivation with every figure; where a headline number mixes the two, the optical range is the one to compare between models.
| Working distance | Approx. 4 in (100 mm); up to 6.5 in with 0.5x Barlow |
|---|---|
| Outputs | HDMI (camera), USB for camera capture |
| Lighting | LED ring light included, adjustable brightness |
| Focus | Rack-and-pinion with tension control |
| Stand / Mount | Pillar stand with large base (boom stand optional) |
The working distance is the clearance between lens and subject — the space your hands and tools actually get. Screen and output decide who can watch: a built-in LCD for one pair of eyes at the bench, HDMI for a room, USB for capture and measurement.
Camera outputs HDMI to any monitor; USB capture on Windows and Mac.
Power: AC adapters (included).
Your work is jewelry inspection & watch repair, industrial quality control, electronics repair & pcb soldering, and the specifications above — magnification, working distance, outputs and lighting — fit how you actually work. It is a professional-level instrument at a market-rate price of $949.99.
